Tips n' tricks

.Put a fuel filter on your pressure line to keep excess exhaust oil from going into your gas tank.

.If you have a .21 use 21 inches of pressure line. If you have a .15, use 15 inches, and if you have a .12 use 12 inches of line. Then just use fuel line clips too hold them the line together.

.Let your leftover gas sit for awhile and wait until all the nitro evaporates, then use the leftover oil as air filter oil.-This tip from Crustycrab. He calls this oil, DAFO oil.(Dan's Air Filter Oil)

.With spoiled gas, use it to clean your engine parts. If you can just use nitro cleaner.

.Use slivers of fuel tubing to make an o-ring, but just not for shock use.

.Use your homemade o-rings to isolate your gas tank, space your dogbones so they dont't pop out,  and put them on the bottom of your ball cups so they dont raddle against the ball ends.

.Put a throttle return spring on the flip top of your racer tank and attach the other end to your car. Do this because the racer tank lid pops open sometimes. The spring will ensure that it stays closed.

.To prevent the rush from bottoming out, put fuel tubing on the bottom of the shock shaft.

.For a quick fix on a lot of r/c applications, always have CA glue, zip ties, and duct tape. Remember this is only a temporary fix, and the problem should be fixed properly.

.If you do not have a temperature guage, put a drop of water on your engine's heatsink head. If it sizzles off right away, your engine is too hot. If the water slowly boils off, your engine is near an operating temperature.

.When running in wet conditions, always seal your electronics with balloons or plastic baggies. Liguid electrical tape also works good. And always give all your screws a shot of WD-40 to prevent rust.

.If you dont have body clips, use paper clips. I do it all the time as you can see in my pictures section.

.Always apply threadlock to all metal to metal connections, especially engine mount screws

.When running the OFNA Hyper, i would suggest using a long glow plug, like an MC 59.

.Because the hyper has so much compression during break in, either loosen  the glow plug a tad or heat the engine casing with a blow dryer. The blow dryer trick works best for me. But after break-in, the engine starts right away, and runs like a charm.

.Start your pullstart engine with a drill if the the pullstart broke, or you can just use s starter box.
