How to put a pullstart .21 engine in a rush

Here is a list of the parts you will need to complete this project:
1.Ofna 17t clutch  bell #10403
2.Ofna 1/8th scale clutch kit #10266
3.Ofna 1/8th scale clutch nut #10098
4.A .21 pullstart engine I used the Ofna .21 hyper. #53211
5.Dynamite .21 sport Tuned Pipe #6607
6.An air filter for a .21 I used a Motorsaver's air filter.
7.Hpi aluminum rush rear brace. You'll definatley need this for chassis strength. # 71280
8.Ofna Adjustable Engine Mounting Kit #30480

You'll also need longer screws with locknuts to raise the engine.
All of these itmes will total in at around 240-260 Us Dollars.

First start by taking off your rear brace, upper deck, engine, engine plate, and linkage.

Second step, attach the engine to the mounts and raise the engine with the locknuts, and then tighten everything down.

Third step, drill holes to mount the engine to the chassis. What i did was get a nail that had a head on it that would fit in the holes in the engine mounts. Then i dabbed a bit of grease on the head of the nail, and marked my holes. Then after i marked off the holes on the chassis, i punched the holes so i could drill them easier.

Fourth step, grind a space in your rear brace so the slide carb barrel moves and doesnt hit the brace.

Fifth step, make a slide carb linkage like this.

Sixth step, assemble your truck and it should look like this. NOTE: If you were wondering, I have made a custom chassis and upper deck. I also have a bellcrank steering setup.
